FAQ


1. What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellations will only be accepted within 24 hours from the time the order was placed. This is a firm policy.

 

2. Do you offer returns? 

At this time, I offer size exchanges only. 

 

3. Help! I'm trying to order a gift for someone and don't know what size to choose.

Your best bet is to try to catch a glimpse of what sizes they have in their underwear drawer. Contact me and I'll help you out with deciding the best size to go with from there. 

 

4. Where is all this stuff made anyway?

Currently, I make everything in my home in Los Angeles, CA. 

 

5. Where do you get your materials?

I try my best to support other small local businesses in Los Angeles in sourcing our materials, but this is not feasible for everything. Our swimwear fabric, for instance, is sourced from a particularly green Italian factory.

 

6. Why does it take up to 4 weeks for me to receive my stuff?

It takes this long because I handmake each item especially for you (as well as everyone else who orders), and this is no quick thing. It's a bit of a wait, but if you have the patience it will be worth it! And if you don't have the patience, I do offer rush production that you can purchase as an upgrade to your order.

 

7. What if I need an order by a specific date in the near future?

Check out the rush production upgrades! I offer 3 day and 5 day options for an added fee. 

 

8. Everything you sell is handmade by you?

Yes, I do literally everything pertaining to Covert Behavior, and this extends far beyond just sewing all the garments. Almost all my free time revolves around this brand.

 

9. Are your designs vegan?

Because of the silk I use, some are not. However, at your request they can all be made vegan--in this case I will substitute more organic cotton jersey in place of silk charmeuse in making the appliqués. Write a note to let me know that you want this at checkout! 

 

10. Do you do custom designs?

Sometimes! It will be decided on a case by case basis. Please send me an email at info@covertbehavior.com explaining your idea in as much detail as you can, and I will get back to you if the project seems feasible with a price. These orders will take longer than normal ones, and cost will vary depending on the complexity of the design.

 

11. Do you offer a student discount?

Yes! I understand the plight of the poor student who likes nice things, so if you email me a photo of your student ID (note: this must have dates on it) I will send you a code for 10% off everything always.
